Dr.
Marcus has a unique medical background.
She has special training and expertise in
the human body anatomy, and physiology
on the one hand, and the human psychology,
and thinking processes on the other hand.
She
has been certified and has practiced
different branches of medicine.
Dr.
Marcus started her practice as
Assistant Professor and General Practitioner
in a fast pace urban university clinic, dealing
with acute illnesses and injuries while
teaching pathology and toxicology to medical
students. A field concentrating mainly on
the physical aspects of the human
body and the treatment of its ailments.
Her
passion
has always been to have an ongoing relationship
with her patients as she directs them
towards achieving a sense of well-being
and satisfaction. She
then has directed
her career towards an in-depth understanding,
and
deciphering
human feelings and behavior.
During
the course of completing two Board Certifications, different
research studies, and an involved practice
with her clients, Dr. Marcus observed
the connection between one's perception
of their physical look and their love of
their inner self. Those who like themselves
work on maintaining and caring for their
body, and those who maintain a healthy
beautiful physique feel much better about
their persona.
That
was the force behind her seeking advanced
training and board certification in aesthetic
medicine. In 2005 Dr. Abir Marcus founded
BiroVenus Medical Spa. She is personally
directing BiroVenus Medical Spa for
advanced non-invasive aesthetic
treatments and procedures. It is the source
for men and women to experience the empowerment
of actively pursuing their physical and
emotional well-being, and enjoying each
stage of their life's journey.
